Ensuring the Success of Our Industry Through Giving

In the face of the critical need to attract young leaders and fewer government research dollars to do so, our Foundation’s role is more vital than ever. The Foundation has made prudent decisions to reduce spending yet maintain support to universities. This level of support, however, is more than we can sustain without significantly increasing the endowment. To ensure the success of tomorrow’s poultry industry, we are partnering with companies and individuals by providing sponsored and endowed programs. We invite you to join us as we develop future leaders and support research that will ensure the poultry and egg industry’s sustainability and prosperity today and tomorrow.

"As a product of the Foundation’s college student recruiting process, I serve to express my appreciation and repay the organization that was so instrumental in my career. The Foundation is an integral and vital component of USPOULTRY’s mission."

Mark Waller
Sales and Processing Director, Ingram Farms
Campaign Steering Committee Member, USPOULTRY Foundation

Partnering with the USPOULTRY Foundation, donors can make an immediate and lasting impact on the industry as well as leave a legacy. A variety of giving opportunities are available to support the work of the USPOULTRY Foundation for years to come. To ensure the success of tomorrow’s poultry industry, we are partnering with companies and private individuals to increase our impact on the industry. With your investment, which will help us double our endowment fund, you have the opportunity to leave a legacy for continuing generations and ensure the future of the poultry and egg industry.

Sponsorship Opportunities

Funding of specific programs – such as pilot programs and one time programs – allows the Foundation to respond and adapt to industry needs as well as donor interests. Donors may choose to fund a specific program through a gift to the Foundation’s operating account.

The program would be named in honor of the donor. Examples include:
•    $50,000 - Public education video
•    $25,000 - Industry recruiting video

Founders Society

The Founders Society is the recognition program for documented planned giving donors to the USPOULTRY Foundation. It honors individuals who believe in ensuring the success of the poultry and egg industry through planned giving. A planned gift to the USPOULTRY Foundation can provide current or future income and benefits for you and your loved ones and make a lasting impact on the future of the industry.

The Foundation is happy to discuss opportunities and tailor plans to meet the interests of the donor and pressing needs of the industry. To invest in the industry through a current or planned gift, please contact John Starkey, president of USPOULTRY, at 770-493-9401 or at jstarkey@poultryfoundation.org.
