USPOULTRY Foundation Supports Attendance of FFA Students and Ag Teachers at IPPE 2026
The top 11 teams from the National FFA Poultry Evaluation and Food Science and Technology Career Development Events (CDEs) were invited to attend the International Poultry Expo (IPE), part of the 2026 International Production & Processing Expo (IPPE). This opportunity was made possible through the USPOULTRY Foundation’s ongoing efforts to inspire students to explore careers in the poultry and egg industry. As part of the initiative, the selected teams received an all-expense paid trip and had the opportunity to explore the vast IPPE trade show floor.
"Through our Foundation, USPOULTRY has long supported the FFA Poultry Evaluation and Food Science and Technology CDEs. Giving these students the chance to experience IPPE’s impressive trade show—featuring the latest innovations in modern, sustainable poultry production—along with access to more than 80 hours of world-class educational programs, is a fantastic way to introduce them to career opportunities in the poultry and egg industry,” remarked Jonathan Cade, Hy-Line International Inc., and USPOULTRY Foundation chair.
The students participated in a special program featuring poultry industry leaders from Perdue Farms, who highlighted the wide range of career paths available in the industry. They also participated in an EggMazing Race scavenger hunt, allowing them to experience the trade show floor and learn about and network with exhibitors and attendees.
The following Poultry Evaluation CDE teams attended IPPE: Katy FFA, Texas; North Clackamas FFA, Oregon; Penn Manor FFA, Pennsylvania; Prairie Central FFA, Illinois; Spring Hill FFA, Kansas.
The following Food Science and Technology CDE teams attended IPPE: Big Walnut-DACC FFA, Ohio; Dassel-Cokato FFA, Minnesota; Eustis-Farnam FFA, Nebraska; Galt-Liberty Ranch FFA, California; Preston FFA, Idaho.
